I still can’t believe that this happened! Such a beautiful man in every respect. It was so wonderful to be able to give him something back :D
I just had to immortalise it! LOL. I had to cut a few seconds out of the long pause because it made it too big! XD I might upload the second part of it later :) Big thanks to Anna for the video!!
Wow. A year ago today this happened!! It still feels like a bit of a dream all this time later. But then I remember what it’s like to actually talk to him and hug him, and I remember all the amazing friends I made during this experience, and I realise hey!- that’s right! That did actually happen :)
His hugs are amazing btw. So firm :3
Melissa Harris-Perry, Black Female Voices: Who Is Listening?
I love this talk; watched and live tweeted it when it happened. Also, Melissa Harris-Perry’s succinct definition of victim blaming is the one that I regularly use. Love how she explains how this impacts the politics of respectability.
